Khloe Has Total Faith Kim & Kanye's Love

by Lisa Fogarty

They've been married for more than a year, have a toddler daughter, and are about to become parents again to a baby boy, but lots of folks still believe it's only a matter of minutes before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announce their divorce. Their eventual demise is obviously a sure thing because her family is too famous, he's too frown-y and serious for her, and she's always naked on magazine covers. Or something like that. But in a new, candid interview with Complex magazine, Khloé Kardashian revealed Kanye was destined to be Kim's husband — and that Kim's second wedding to basketball player Kris Humphries only confirms that fact.

Khloé really opened up with Complex and touched upon everything from her feelings about Caitlyn Jenner's transition and the rumors that she has hooked up with Scott Disick to her unofficial role as protective den mother to little sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner and her own thoughts on marriage and divorce — something she says she didn't take too lightly when she was trying to work things out with now ex-husband Lamar Odom.

Khloé has always been a source of fascination because she has magically managed to stand out in a family that boasts a supermodel (aka Kendall) and magazine cover-snagging glamazon (aka Kim) by simply being the family's most outspoken and truth-telling member — one who has no problem unraveling the mystery of her sister's relationship with West in just a few words:

Kim and I are way more understanding of each other, but Kim being married to Kanye is a completely different Kim. Kim is so at peace with herself. At my own wedding, I was so calm. At the Humps’ [Kris Humphries] wedding Kim was crazy. Then I saw her at her wedding to who I always said should be her husband, and she was so calm. No one else in the world could have the conversations that those two have.

You may be wondering: How in the hell did Khloé always suspect Kanye and Kim should be married? Another simple answer:

Every time I went to a basketball game and he saw me, he would come out of his way to find my seat and give me a hug. Every time I would see him, it was all about Kim. It was so endearing and so cute and genuine. What I love about Kanye is that he wants to build her up instead of take her down. Kim is so gorgeous and also a gorgeous person and people don’t really see that because they’re blinded or distracted by all of this. I think men want to break her down so they can control her.

It sounds like Kanye knew exactly what he was doing by cozying up to Khloé, most likely because he thought she was a cool chick, but also in the hopes that his kindness would get back to Kim. Can you blame him? Smart dude.

I think there's so much more to Kim and to her relationship with Kanye than anyone really knows. They always appear 100 percent satisfied with one another in public. Both seem to value and appreciate what they have, and it's heartening to hear Khloé confirm that Kanye is only interested in making his wife's life better.

But wait, there's more Kim in Khloé's interview. If you have yet to see it, Khloé's cover photo is risqué and hot:

You may be able to (at least partially) thank Kim for that. According to Complex, North West's mommy popped up at the photo shoot to serve as "creative director" and proceeded to give advice and even stop the shoot to ask if she could put water on her sibling's nipples to make them harder. The magazine compared Kim's actions with those her mom Kris Jenner once took when visiting her Playboy photo shoot; an event that was captured on an early season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

In other words, Kim, content with her utterly blissful and satisfying family life, may be ready to pass the baton and it looks like Khloé is ready to catch it.
