Beatrice Borromeo Didn't Wear White To Her Wedding

by Lindsey Rose Black

Given how many people get hitched this time of year, I think it's fair to say the world could trade out the term "summertime" with "wedding time." Adding to the glorious slew of summer nuptials, Italian aristocrat Beatrice Borromeo wore a pink couture Valentino gown on her wedding day and it might be my favorite dress of the 2015 wedding season. I hope her marriage to Monaco royal Pierre Casiraghi is as sweet and perfect as her dress!

Borremeo is no stranger to Valentino. In 2005, she strutted down the runway in one of the designer's wedding dresses. Fate? Perhaps. Today, the stunning aristocrat wore a Haute Couture gown designed exclusively for her. Instead of traditional white, the dress is a soft pink-to-barely-lavender hue perfect for summer. It features flowy boho elbow-length sleeves and intricate lace trim.

The low-key elegant vibes continued with Borromeo's makeup and hair. She opted for a simple purple flower crown with barely-there natural waves. She kept her face bright and natural with minimal makeup and a touch of dark eyeliner to make her eyes pop.

The couple will continue to party it up next week at the bride's family's private island. Yes, they own an entire island on Italy's Lake Maggiore. Who needs a honeymoon when you have access to that? Can't wait to swoon over the hopeful IG and Twitter pics to come!

P.S. Are they not the sweetest?

And look at how incredible the original Valentino sketch is!

Wahhh so cute. #WeddingGoals
