We Should Expect A 'BB17' Double Eviction

by Marenah Dobin

When Liz and James won Battle of the Block, they secured their safety during this week's elimination on Big Brother. This means that the twin twist will officially come to light. Liz Nolan and her identical twin Julia have been switching in and out of the house, competing together as Liz. They had to survive five eliminations for the twin twist to be officially revealed and this means that Julia will be entering the house as an individual player. But this throws things off a little bit. All of the Big Brother television schedules are already set, so something needs to be done to get the show's schedule back on course. All superfans know what I am hinting at by now. The easiest and most typical way to get the show back on course and throw off the cast is to institute a double eviction on Big Brother 17 . To be honest, this is inevitable.

So the real question is not "Will there be a double a eviction?" but rather, "When will there be a double eviction?" As usual, the people behind Big Brother do not reveal anything to the viewers at home or the cast, but luckily we are in Season 17 of the show and have past precedent to go on. Plus, the twins entering the house is reason enough to have a double eviction since there will be an extra person in the house.

How would this all go down? Based on past precedent, double eviction would happen on a typical Thursday night live show where a houseguest is eliminated and the remaining cast members compete for HoH titles. Totally normal. This is until a Fast Forward Twist, when houseguests will be immediately nominated for eviction. The competition would then run its normal course with the power of veto competition and eviction.

So when would this happen? It usually goes down when there's somewhere between six and eight cast members remaining in the house. To make things crazier, Seasons 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, and 16 have all had multiple double evictions.

It looks like we are right around the corner from a double eviction on Big Brother 17, and that means the game is about to heat up. Things change so quickly in the Big Brother house, though, it can be hard to keep up.
