Amanda Bynes Is Looking At Colleges

Good news: Four months after being involuntarily hospitalized, Amanda Bynes has left rehab. According to People, the 27-year-old star is now living at her parents' home in California, and is reportedly even looking at colleges to further her education now that her mental health is getting back on track. In a statement, Bynes' mother's lawyer, Tamar Arminak, revealed the news:

"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery," he said. "Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."

After everything she went through prior to rehab, it's really nice to see that she's doing better. If you don't all recall, Bynes was involuntarily hospitalized about four months ago in an LA psychiatric center, after she was arrested for setting fire to someone's driveway. Prior to that, she had been living in NYC and was arrested for allegedly tossing a bong out of the window of her 36th floor midtown apartment. After she spent a few months under psychiatric hold, she was transferred to a Malibu rehab facility. Bynes' mother Lynn was granted conservatorship over her daughter at one point during the treatment, and will reportedly remain in control of Bynes' finances and well-being indefinitely.

As for Bynes' plans now, Arminak revealed that the actress is actually considering going to college to further her education, and possibly pursue a career in fashion design. "She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design," he revealed. "She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."

Though Bynes' treatment is apparently far from over — Arminak added in the statement that she's still receiving outpatient care — she's reportedly miles away from the state she was in just a few months ago. "She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared," Arminak said.
