Emma Goes (Basically) Makeup-Free On 'Vogue UK'

by Sienna Fantozzi

While we all eagerly anticipate the live action Beauty and the Beast movie (seriously, could time move any slower?), here's a little something to hold us over. Emma Watson is on Vogue UK's cover looking flawless, as per usual, and for this editorial, she's wearing almost no makeup. But was there ever any doubt she was a natural beauty?

Watson graces the magazine's latest cover rocking a gilded Stella McCartney dress. The patterned dress is blush toned and gold, and is really all the sparkle the 25-year-old needs, because she is stunning enough all on her own. Emma went au natural on the cover, wearing minimal makeup, with her hair messily blowing around her face. And as great as she always looks all done up, why go through the effort when you look like THIS naturally?

The September issue dubs the British actress "the voice of a generation," and it's with good reason. The Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women launched the #HeForShe movement last year in her efforts to champion gender equality, which has received widespread support and acclaim. And she's done all of this in addition to making blockbuster films and completing her undergraduate degree at Brown University. NBD — it's casual.

Given that most of the country is going through a super gross heat wave right now, this cover is the perfect minimal-yet-glowing summer makeup look. Now if I could only get my hands on that dress...
