Maddy Ziegler Made Her Runway Debut!

by Dana Reszutek

Reality TV star? Check. Dancer for a Grammy-nominated artist? Check. Model... check? That's right, Maddie Ziegler made her runway debut Wednesday, modeling the Polo Ralph Lauren children's collection.

The fashion show, which took place at the Central Park Zoo, showed off the brand's fall 2015 collection. Polo Ralph Lauren's presentation also promoted children's literacy, as well as the upcoming film, "Pan." These two elements combined to create a line that blends back-to-school style with a playful pirate theme. But the most notable moment of the show had to have been the "Chandelier" star's modeling debut.

Ziegler sported plaid and floral dresses, one of which was accessorized with a pirate hat, and her ensembles were nothing like the nude leotard and blond wig everyone's gotten used to seeing in her Sia videos. Maddie wasn't the only Ziegler to make an appearance at the Ralph Lauren show. Her little sister, Mackenize also walked the runway hand-in-hand with her big sis.

Though this is Ziegler's first time strutting her stuff on the runway, the dancer has previously acted as Fashion Week correspondent for ELLE. Basically, Ziegler is already taking over the industry at the age of 12. Incredible.

Here are her looks from the Polo Ralph Lauren show.

Simply adorable. Now, I wonder what will be next for this dancer-model-actress. Perhaps a September magazine cover?
