Andi Will Turn Her Heartbreak Into A Tell-All Book

by Caitlin White

Another person will join Trista Sutter, Sean Lowe, and Courtney Robinson in the ranks of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants turn tell-all writers. And frankly, it's the one we should all be most excited for. The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman will publish It's Not Okay, centering on her very public split from her season's winner Josh Murray. And, yes, if you caught that joke, the book is titled as a joking reminder of the notorious Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavais, who Andi called out for his frustrating "catchphrase" before leaving the show. It's Not Okay is coming to all of our grubby Bachelorette-loving hands next spring.

Former district attorney Andi started her Bachelor Nation career on Juan Pablo's season, and she was the fan favorite to return as The Bachelorette. On the final episode of her season as the Bachelorette, Andi accepted former professional baseball player Josh's engagement. Five months later, the couple ended their engagement and Andi moved from Atlanta to New York City. She told People that she began writing her book as soon as she arrived in New York.

"It is basically a tongue-in-cheek diary of my breakup, but it's also kind of like the anti self-help book," Andi told People. "I went through a very public breakup but it was also extremely private."

Andi also added that her book will go into the gritty details of splitting up in the public eye and heartbreak in general:

I feel like we, as women, don't share a lot of bad emotions that are associated with breakups and this book kind of defies that. It's like, you know what? I did it. I did every good, bad, ugly, sad, crazy, psychotic thing that women do. I'm like, here it is – we all do it. I am proof that we all do it.

And if you want proof that we're on board with this, I'll send you a receipt of my pre-order.
