Is New Robyn Music On the Way?

OK, so maybe this is a bit of a stretch, but hey, who knows! Dreams of awesome Scandinavian electro-pop music are what this country was founded on — probably — so it can't hurt to be a little hopeful about this. According to Pitchfork, Robyn has teamed up with Röyksopp for a new tour across North America and Europe, which COULD mean that a new Robyn album is on the way. Like a Christmas miracle...

The tour itself is reportedly titled the "Röyksopp and Robyn Do It Again Tour," and it'll be their first collaboration since 2009's "The Girl and the Robot."

"We look forward to basking in the warm glow that is Robyn’s presence," The members of Röyksopp, Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, said in a statement. "We predict one helluva ride." One listen to their former collaboration "The Girl and the Robot" should be proof of this — that song is just fun.

The best part of all this, though: Robyn tweeted a picture of herself with Berge and Brundtland in the studio, and added the vague, but exciting caption: "We are making music again. #royksopprobyn." New Robyn album? New Röyksopp album? Either way — good news!

The first round of tour dates for the "Do It Again" tour is expected to be announced this week, with many more to follow.
