Bar Refaeli & Adi Ezra Are Getting Married Soon

by Lisa Fogarty

Most people only know the following facts about supermodel Bar Refaeli: She was a Sports Illustrated cover model, is super, duper pretty, and was one of few models to date Leonardo DiCaprio long enough for us to learn her name. (They were together from 2005 until 2009, broke up for a bit, reconnected, then split for good.) If you're a beauty addict, you may have heard that Refaeli likes bloody vampire facials. And, if you're Bar fanatic, your knowledge of her might extend to the fact that she hosts X Factor Israel, is engaged to Israeli businessman Adi Ezra, and that the couple is planning a wedding with her strong Jewish beliefs in mind. Even if you know all of this, still, you may be wondering when exactly Bar Refaeli and Adi Ezra are getting married.

The gorgeous couple got engaged in March after dating for one year, and they aren't wasting any time before tying the knot. According to E! News, they will get married on Sept. 24 at Beresheet Hotel, Carmel Forest, which is in Haifa, Israel. The date they chose is significant because they chose to wait until after the September Jewish holidays Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Their shared faith was also evident in their choice of wedding officiant. Rabbi Grossman, who is also known as the "Disco Rabbi," will marry eafaeli and Ezra before they party the night away. The model's family is reportedly over the moon about her choice of husband because he takes good care of her and because they are both dedicated to raising their future children Jewish.

The 30-year-old is also clearly smitten about her 40-year-old love, who proposed to her on vacation with a 5-carat diamond ring designed by Lorraine Schwartz. Refaeli even defended their age difference in an interview with Israel Ha Yom last year:

I have always gone out with guys who are older than me. A 10-year age difference between a man and a woman isn't so crazy. I actually think it's a good thing. He went out with many other girls before me, he's seen and done many things, and that's just a much more complete place to come from. I prefer to date someone who has experienced and done many things and met people and is now ready to choose, rather than someone who doesn't know.

This will be Refaeli's second marriage; she was married to Arik Weinstein from 2003 until 2005.

When a couple starts off with the same values and beliefs, it makes it that much easier for them to weather the difficult times. Here's wishing them all the best, and I'm looking forward to seeing her (undoubtedly) stunning wedding gown.
