11 Hermione Quotes To Inspire You

by Amy Sachs

A few things about Hermione Granger: She's the brightest witch of her age, from 11 through the end of the series, and probably until forever. She knows it's "levi-OH-sa" not "levi-oh-SAR." She's a proud Mudblood, and she can pretty much out-magic anyone who comes her way. Basically, she was everything you wanted to be.

For most girls, growing up, we had Barbies and Disney princesses. And then the Harry Potter series came along, and brought us Hermione. Not that we didn't still love Barbie and Disney, but it was a welcome change to see a girl stand up for herself, what she liked, and what she believed in, and not be afraid to do so. Plus, she was a total book-lover — as if we could love her MORE.

Harry might have been the Boy Who Lived, The Chosen One, etc., but he wouldn't have been able to navigate his way through Hogwarts and the many misadventures he found there without Hermione. The mobile library, the thousands of facts she tucked away after all her time in the library, and her sense of friendship made Hermione an irreplaceable friend to both Harry and Ron. Without her, surely, they would have been killed — or worse, expelled! Here are 11 Hermione quotes to inspire you in any situation.
