Look Wide Awake With Kim's Favorite Concealer

by Jessica Willingham

Between private jet flights to Paris and, you know, creating and growing a human being, I bet Kim Kardashian is a little sleepy. In her makeup masterclass, the world found out Kim Kardashian uses a Kevyn Aucoin concealer, which probably means we should, too if we want to look as wide awake and fresh as she does.

Kim K. paired with longtime makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic for a makeup master class that divulged all the celeb's secrets for looking amazing. Of course concealer is a big part of Kim's routine, as it is for most of us. Even if we got plenty of sleep, a lot of us are plagued with dark under eye circles that can be a result of hormones, genetics, or just about anything in-between like our diet and water intake.

To maintain the wide awake and ready for anything look while building and maintaining an empire, being a mom to a toddler, and growing a fetus, Kim uses the Kevyn Aucoin’s The Sensual Skin Enhancer to dab away dark circles. She got the product tip from, you guessed it, Dedivanovic.

It's a waterproof, and comes in thirteen different shades. It's buildable coverage, and honey and jojoba oil create a dewy finish - the perfect formulation to go for when you're trying to look alert. Any tired, damaged, or aging skin looks luminous again under dewy foundations and concealers—so always reach for products with "dewy" or "luminous" on the bottle when you're feeling tired.

Because this concealer is such a perfect, dewy formulation, you can use it as a highlight, concealer, or contour. Labels be damned, you just do you! You can use a matte shadow for a contour or a cream blush as a lip gloss.

When applying concealer, it's best to gently dab a little at a time so you can build coverage that looks natural. I like to use my middle or ring finger (as long as they're squeaky clean!) especially when the product is thicker and expensive because a beauty sponge will soak up some of the product and can make application a little messy.
