Becky G's New Single Will Make You "Break A Sweat"

On Wednesday evening, up-and-coming pop star Becky G premiered her new single, "Break a Sweat" — and it's 100-percent guaranteed to get you dancing. At this point, I'm pretty much convinced that the super-talented 18-year-old singer is incapable of putting out a bad song. (If you're just now hearing about Becky for the first time, be sure to check out her past singles — especially "Can't Get Enough," "Shower," and "Can't Stop Dancing." If you love pop music, you won't be disappointed.) The California native reportedly called it quits with fellow pop artist Austin Mahone recently (sad face), but the "Break a Sweat" lyrics seem to suggest she's doing just fine. In fact, she may be looking for someone new! On the high-energy first verse and pre-chorus, Becky sings:

Becky's April 2014 single, "Shower," peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it her biggest hit to date. With its stomping beat and sing-along chorus, I think "Break a Sweat" has the potential to climb even higher! Hopefully, the infectious track will finally give Becky the exposure and commercial success she deserves.
