Warm & Trendy Camel Coats For Fall

by Eliza Florendo

If you're from the Northeast, you know the pain of trying to leave your house lookin' cute on a winter evening, and the wind, snow, rain, all of the above is all like, "that's cute, but here's sub zero weather." It's practically impossible to look put together in the winter time, until now—I present to you, camel colored coats for fall and winter that will not only keep you from shivering your timbers, but will also keep you looking icy cool.

So why camel, exactly? Well, I'm not going to say that camel is the new black, because, well, black is always the new black. But this warm neutral never fails to look chic—whether it be in the form of a big tote, a luxe wool scarf, or a big comfy knit. And this fall and winter season, I've decided that I'm going to live in it. Down to my skivvies. Ok, not exactly, but a camel colored statement coat for the fall is all I've ever wanted and needed.

As an all-black-errthang outfit lover myself, it's hard to see myself wearing—gasp—COLOR?! But the great thing about camel is that it's just as versatile as black, whites, and greys are. Plus, it's refreshing to see a light color in the dead of winter, when everyone's walking around unhappy and there's a general grey feeling about the world.

Below, 10 camel coats for the fall and winter that you're totally going to fall in love with.

1. Faux Leather Trim

Not even the strongest of winds can get past this faux-fur trim.

2. The Belted Overlap

This coat is perfect for those crisp fall days when you don't quite need a wool coat just yet.

Definitely one of the pricier options, but one that's worth it: it's reversible! And, from the looks of it, insanely warm.
