Jared Leto's 'Candy' Cover and 9 Other Male Celebrities Who Look Better in Drag

It's sadly true. As a RuPaul's Drag Race maniac and resident lover of drag queens, I wish I could force every male celebrity to don a dress. But I understand that other people don't necessarily feel that way (fools). But here's a list to make you wish you could rock a bob like Liev Schreiber, or light pink hair like Jared Leto. These dudes are making us ladies look bad.

The Men of Hollywood Make the Rest of Us Look Like Butter-faces

It's sadly true. As a RuPaul's Drag Race maniac and resident lover of drag queens, I wish I could force every male celebrity to don a dress. But I understand that other people don't necessarily feel that way (fools). But here's a list to make you wish you could rock a bob like Liev Schreiber, or light pink hair like Jared Leto. These dudes are making us ladies look bad.

Tom Hanks

Okay, so it is off-putting to think of 2013 Tom Hanks in drag, but once upon a time, the actor was a beaaautiful woman. And not just in a movie, but for an entire series — in Bosom Buddies, he played Kip Wilson, a.k.a. cheekbones, cheekbones cheekbones! Undershading definitely works for some, our main girl T is definitely one of them.

Jared Leto

This cover of Candy magazine doesn't even mark Leto's first time in drag (he dresses as a woman for Dallas Buyers Club, although it's arguably his best. On a manly day, Leto is still prettier than I am, but throw on some fake lashes and a wig and we're GAGGING. Darling, he is too fishy.

Walton Goggins

I've been vocal in ‪my praise‬ for Sons of Anarchy's Venus Van Dam, but what I didn't mention is that Goggins, as a guy, is not the most conventionally handsome. So A+ for his hair and makeup team — I personally hope he kept the breast plate. Ya know, just in case.

Chiwetel Ejiofor

You might not know Ejiofor as anything but the guy who marries Keira Knightley in Love Actually, but he is also the strangely sexy woman pictured here. It's weird for drag to make a celebrity hotter but watch Kinky Boots and you'll see what I mean.

Tim Curry

Okay, so technically this shouldn't count as drag, but Curry's looks are seriously improved by the garter belt and lipstick in Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I'm throwing him in for good measure. Also, he can definitely walk in heels a hell of a lot better than I can.

Jude Law

This kind of makes me want to wear a bag over my head for the rest of my life. Law's character in Rage was named Minx, which seems depressingly appropriate — lady is indeed a straight-up minx. Never before has eyeliner been so thoroughly worked. It needed a rest and a cigarette after this picture.

Gael Garcia Bernal

Generally sultry Bernal gets straight up Spanish-Juliette Lewis here in Bad Education, and it's pretty depressing how gorgeous he is. Who even knew anyone could rock that hair-do other than mid-'90s Julia Roberts?

John Leguizamo

As a man, Leguizamo looks sort of like a mole, so his whole mamacita routine in To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar really worked for me. He was Johnny from the Block before Jenny even made that thing, so hooray for Chi-Chi!

Liev Schreiber

Schreiber is another guy who clearly doesn't mind slipping into a slinky evening number — he kitted up for Mixed Nuts and Taking Woodstock. But he really shines as Christine. Love that hairdo and her cute little smirk.

Tobias Funke

How could we not include Ms. Featherbottom? I mean, there are a lot of choice Tobias looks — from when he blue himself to stripped down Tobias in his jean shorts — but Ms. Featherbottom is just too beyootiful.
