Cassandra Makes A Surprising Move On 'BIP'

by Nicole Pomarico

Now that we've reached the finale, there are only a few couples left on Bachelor in Paradise, and one of those couples is Cassandra and Justin. Even though neither of them have had as much time in paradise as the others, they've definitely gotten close in the time that they have been around, so when the time came for their fantasy suite date, it seemed inevitable that they'd get to spend the extra time together. But surprisingly enough, Cassandra decided to decline a fantasy suite date with Justin, and he didn't seem too pleased about it.

But as Cassandra explained, she didn't turn him down because of her feelings for him — it was more because, as a mom, she wanted to be a good role model for her son, kind of like former Bachelorette Emily Maynard did in the past.

"I do have to take relationships slower and I do have to set a good example for my son," Cassandra said. "I have to figure out what's best for me and I hope that Justin understands."

Unfortunately, Justin was super disappointed and thought Cassandra was "putting on the breaks" on their relationship, but I hope he realizes that she does care about him. If not? That sucks and she deserves better than that, anyway. It's awesome that she made the call she felt most comfortable with, despite the fact that Justin might not be thrilled about it. Go Cassandra!
