8 'Pitch Perfect 2' Easter Eggs To Look For

How many times in a row could you watch Pitch Perfect 2? More than twice? More than thrice? Unless you want to shell out $19.99 on iTunes, it's likely you'll have to wait at least 20-odd days to find out, and that's only if you are going to buy the DVD. And, for you Netflix-dependents out there, the wait could be even longer, as Pitch Perfect 2 likely won't hit Netflix until fall of 2016. (As far as I am concerned, this is a horrible crime upon humanity.) For all you aca-fans out there counting down the days until Pitch Perfect 2 is available on Netflix, let's spend this long period of waiting focusing on other things, like all the lovely details you can look forward to catching once Pitch Perfect 2 is on Netflix! Here are a few easter eggs in Pitch Perfect 2 you might have missed.

Full disclosure: not all of these are traditional Easter Eggs — Pitch Pefect is no Lost, nor does it exist in the Pixar universe (as far as I know). But, there are so many fun things crammed into Pitch Perfect 2 that it's impossible to catch them all in one viewing! So, to help, here's a list of cameos, jokes and best moments you should pay extra attention to upon your eventual Netflix re-viewing.

1. Sonia Sotomayor

This blink-and-you-miss-it shout out to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor was easy to miss. When the Bellas go through the hate mail they receive after Fat Amy accidentally flashes the President, one of the letters is supposedly from Sotomayor herself.

2. Stacie Being Stacie

Alexis Knapp, who plays the overly sexual Stacie, is a gem. As Stacie, Knapp never fails to be hot, hilarious and completely lovable. She's a supporting player, but in any given scene, look out for her, because odds are she's either giving serious face or making a ridiculous facial expression... or making sex eyes at someone. That's kinda her thing.

3. Bumper's Blind Audition For The Voice

If you left the theater just as the credits started rolling, you seriously missed out. In a mid-credits scene, Bumper (Adam DeVine) serenaded The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams with John Legend's "All of Me." It's almost as beautiful as it is ridiculous.

4. The Tone Hangers

Jason Jones and Joe Lo Truglio returned as two-fifths of the aging Tone Hangers in Pitch Perfect 2, and this time they got to have a piece of the Riff-Off with new members, Bumper, John Hodgman, and Reggie Watts. Note that members Donald Faison and Har Mar Superstar, who appeared in Pitch Perfect, are no longer part of the sweater-wearing group.

5. The Green Bay Packers

While we're on the subject of the Riff-Off, it's worth mentioning that those big, muscly guys who shook their booties to Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" were actually the Green Bay Packers. More specifically, they were Clay Matthews, David Bakhtiari, Josh Sitton, T.J. Lang, and Don Barclay. Now, most of you already know this, so this is simply a reminder for those aca-obsessed fans who maybe don't pay attention to sports... or celebrity media of any kind.

6. Gail And John, aka The Aca-Commentators

It's worth re-watching any and all Gail (Elizabeth Banks) and John (John Michael Higgins) moments, if for no other reason than to memorize John's hilarious sexist zingers.

7. The Epic Burns

Beca Mitchell could work a bit on her comebacks, but I think we could all learn a little something from her "kill 'em with kindness" attitude. In comparison, Das Sound Machine are practically professional in the art of the diss.

8. Where's Jesse?

Jesse (Skylar Astin), Beca's boyfriend and head Treblemaker, barely appeared in Pitch Perfect 2. Or, at least, when he did appear, it was as drama-free, singing eye-candy. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Still, I know I can't be alone in thinking there wasn't enough Jesse in Pitch Perfect 2. Being able to watch Jesse's scenes on Netflix can only be a plus.

Bonus: Spot Jesse and Benji (Ben Platt) wearing this bro-tastic mess!

JK, Trebles, I'll still love you forever, patriotic mantanks and all.
