These 7 Tanya Burr Tutorials Are Wedding Day Ready

by Melodi Erdogan

First comes love, then comes marriage... Except for newly weds Tanya Burr & Jim Chapman, who got married this weekend, I'm sure the jingle sounded a little more like, first comes super successful YouTube channel, then comes marriage.

After dating for 8 years, and after almost three years of engagement, beauty vlogger Tanya Burr and lifestyle/comedy vlogger Jim Chapman have finally tied the knot. They married last Sunday at the Babington House, according to The Mirror, in Somerset, UK, surrounded by family, and of course, a slew of fellow YouTubers and friends, from Zoe Sugg (known as Zoella) to Marcus Butler.

The event was kept quiet for the most part, with hardly any social media posts or shared information about the exact date, location, or time it was to take place. While followers on each of their social media accounts may have gathered the date was near within the past few weeks (from bachlorette party photos or adorable snaps of the puppy they got together — a serious indication that your relationship is moving to the next step), both Burr and Chapman remained quite mum about their nuptials.

Can you blame them? Both of them vlog almost every single day, and are very open and generous to their followers about personal information. That being said, I can imagine that their wedding would be considered much more important as opposed to their shared visit to the grocery store.

But now that the couple is officially married, there's no harm in drooling over their wedding photos — and these are some beautiful wedding photos. The wedding took place at a beautiful, Downton Abbey-esque estate. Chapman looked dapper in a three-piece black suit, and Burr looked beyond stunning in a Phillipa Lepley gown with embroidery and lace. This being Burr we're talking about, she also rocked flawless makeup. She wore eyeliner and a soft, dark eye with a blushing cheeks and a pink shade on her lips. Maybe the products were from her latest makeup launch? Either way, she looked gorgeous.

The British YouTube duo have been together since 2007, and shortly thereafter began vlogging as a hobby, and what in recent years has become a profession. In the short years they've been publishing vlogs and other videos on their channels, each of them have had multiple career opportunities, from Tanya's book Love, Tanya to her cosmetic line, to Jim's co-host position on ITV's Viral Tap (a British talk show) and Style Haul community member status.

There's no doubt that these two love birds were a match made in heaven, before and after the wedding. The two of them are goofy, charismatic, and absolutely adorable with each other, and as you can probably already gather, they have quite a lot in common.

So, to celebrate their marriage, here are 7 makeup tutorials that Burr may have worn to her wedding. She is an expert at gorgeous makeup looks, so whether you're getting married or, well, getting coffee, the new bride has got your back.

1. Gold Smoky Eye

Gold is such a tricky metallic to work with on eye shadow, but Burr makes it effortlessly pretty. With some added pencil and a basic lip color, the stark gold shadow blends in perfectly and looks super pretty for day or night.

2. Glowy Skin

Everyone wants to achieve that glowing-from-within angelic look. While Burr creates it pretty well in this tutorial with some highlighter and bronzer handy, she doesn't exactly match her beaming skin on the day she got married. But she does get darn close!

3. Gray Smoky Eye

While your wedding might not necessarily the best place to try out a gray smokey eye, Burr's light, smoked out version is the perfect sexy yet gorgeous eye shadow look. Swap the gray color for a light brown and this would be so major for a wedding or other romantic event.

4. Seasonal — Spring

That light pink gloss Burr puts on at the end of the video is so pretty, and pulls the whole thin winged liner and blushed look together. After all, pink is a very springtime shade!

5. Victoria's Secret Angel

Victoria's Secret Angel tutorial or perfect wedding day makeup? Either one, you decide. Because this bronzed, glowing look with fluttery lashes and soft, glossy lips could be amazing for either.

6. Kendall Jenner Tutorial

That glimmering eye shadow along with the flushed blush and light bronzer makes for a very girly yet pretty makeup look. If I were getting married, this is definitely a makeup look I would go for.

7. Date Night

Besides the gorgeous look that she creates, my favorite part of this video is when Burr explains that she went to dinner with her "boyfriend, or my fiancé, Jim." Now, she can add another title to the list!
