'The League' Is Bringing Back Faves 1 Last Time

by Alice Walker

The League has done so many wonderful things over its past six seasons, in addition bringing the term "Eskimo brothers" to our cultural vocabulary. It perfectly captures the agony and the ecstasy of fantasy football, even if the characters' league is a lot more intense and star-studded than your usual friendly competition. The show is every bit as adept at casting comedians as it is at showcasing huge football stars, who are not often seen outside of their uniform. Between the real-life athletes and their fast paced, improv-like dialogue the show possesses a unique, off-kilter vibe. Like the world's most messed up talk show segment. Part of the fun was watching the different stars cycle through season after season and guessing as to who will guest star on The League next.

With the seventh and final season upon us, fans only have 13 episodes left to see all of our favorite characters back in action. Luckily, many of the best and most outrageous characters from the last six years will be returning to the show. To get you pumped for the show's return I have gathered the six most exciting guest stars for The League Season 7. Thank goodness they're coming back, because I really need to say a proper goodbye to everyone.

Jason Mantzoukas

The one and only El Cuñado, Jason Mantzoukas is a show stopper as the horrible, disgusting, perverted and completely hilarious Rafi, Ruxin's sexually aggressive brother-in-law. The League wouldn't be right without him, so I'm overjoyed to let you know that Entertainment Weekly reported Rafi will return for one episode this season. And you know what that means, where there is Rafi there is...

Seth Rogen

The perfect sidekick to Rafi, Dirt Randy will be back for another go round — as if there was any doubt there could be one without the other. In the same Entertainment Weekly article, executive producer Jackie Schaffer confirmed things will be crazier than ever. "If people think the last two Rafi/Dirty Randy episodes have shocked them, this is a whole new level," she said. "It’s practically inhuman."

Ike Barinholtz

Frank "The Body" Gibiatti has popped up in a few episodes as Ruxin's high school nemesis, and every time it is ridiculously funny. TV.com reported that The League producers confirmed Barinholtz will return this season at the TCAs summer tour. Perhaps Frank's sister Gina Gibiatti (Brooklyn Decker) could make a surprise appearance?

Leslie Bibb

Meegan returned to The League in the Season 7 premiere with a shocking life update: she's dating Andre. It'll be hard for any of the other returning guests to top that entrance.

Rob Riggle

You better believe that the atrocious Bethesda will be back, according to TV.com. It's too early to tell if he will be in the office with Ruxin, or out on the playing field with Little Geoffery, but either way it's going to be awful (and hilarious).

Will Forte

TV.com also reported that one of the league's few out of town members, Chuck, will return — I'd guess for more ball-related hijinks.

Knowing The League, this list is just scratching the surface of the famous faces who will pop up at the perfect times throughout its last season.
