7 Styles From LC's Runway Collection You Will Love

by Julia Guerra

Finally New York Fashion Week is upon us, and LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s Limited Edition Runway Show kicked off the series of events Wednesday night at the Skylight Modern in Manhattan. Every year fashionistas anxiously await these seven September days jam-packed with runway shows and street style inspo, and if Conrad’s authentic aesthetic and affordable fashion gracing the runway with its presence is any indication, we can expect this year’s NYFW to satisfy.

Over 300 editors, bloggers, fashion icons and celebs came out to support the Laguna Beach stars first runway collection, while LC fans were able to tune in via Kohls.com for a shoppable live stream. A-list attendees including Ashley Tisdale, Lo Bosworth and Aimee Song, among others, were in favor of the reality star turned full fledged designer’s vintage-inspired collection. IMG Model Chrissy Teigen also sung Conrad’s praises during a post-runway photo shoot, congratulating the designer on “such a beautiful collection.” Naturally LC fan girled a bit, embracing Teigen as she no doubt was feeling a surge of accomplishment.

According to a press release sent to Bustle, Conrad states that “This was a definite career high [for me]. The collection is how I wished I always dressed - from the fringe to lace to tulle!”

As a huge fan of LC's style, I encourage you all to check out seven of my favorite styles from the runway collection below. You'll definitely want to add a little LC flair to your fall wardrobe this season.

1. High-Waisted Trousers

High-Waisted Soft Pants, $36.00, kohls.com

It took me awhile to ease into the high-waisted denim craze, but I'm thinking these high-waisted trousers will be an easier trend to transition into. First of all, they are way comfortable, and second of all, they look chic, and not in a high-end pajama kind of way.

2. Co-Ords

Embroidered Shorts, $45.00, kohls.com

We saw a big co-ords trend this summer, and clearly they are sticking around for the fall season courtesy of LC creations.

3. Crop Tops

Scallop Lace Crop Top, $45.00, kohls.com

This fashion trend will never go out of style, and LC has given this staple a feminine twist with delicate lace detailing.

4. Jumpsuits

Fox Print Lace Jumpsuit, $66.00, kohls.com

I am hardly in favor of the jumpsuit phenomena, but LC has me jumping the fence with this one. Add a pair of polished, white heels to this foxy suit and you've got yourself an age-appropriate one piece.

5. Moto Jackets

Faux-Suede Moto Jacket, $90.00, kohls.com

Is there anything cooler than a cropped, faux suede jacket? Didn't think so.

6. Cigarette Pants

Velvet Cigarette Pants in Tawny Port, $45.00, kohls.com

Colored bottoms are my weakness. Here we have maroon, velvet ankle pants. The waistband lands mid-naval, perfect for pairing with crop tops and tucked in blouses. I'm a fan.

7. Cross Body Hand Bag

Leather Crossbody Bag, $161.40, kohls.com

Growing up, I always picked on my mom for being floral obsessed. Turns out, like mother like daughter, and this floral cross body handbag is right up my ally.
