This Disney-Themed Engagement Shoot Is Too Cute

by Eliza Castile

When you really think about it, is there anything as romantic as Disney? Just ask the couple who recreated 101 Dalmatians for their engagement photos — Nicholas Sparks may have a knack for bringing a tear (or two, or 300) to your eye, but not even Noah and Allie can compete with the old-fashioned romance of Disney movies. But while not all Disney movies are... shall we say, realistic (barring some major changes to human DNA and/or the laws of physics, none of us are going to live happily ever after with a Beast-turned-Prince, nor are we going to be woken up from comas by the kiss of random sexy royalty), some of them actually are achievable — and judging from Corinne Jones and Tony Collier's engagement photos, they're just as magical in real life as they are on screen.

Collier wrote on Reddit that 101 Dalmatians is Jones' favorite movie; as such, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to recreate the iconic opening sequence for the couple's engagement photos, which were taken by Melissa Biggerstaff of Rusty Lion Art.

"They are the most fun and fantastic couple! It was Corinne's idea. She is a huge 101 Dalmatians fan," Biggerstaff told Bustle over email. In fact, she added that many of the shoot's adorable details, like the ultra-accurate costumes, were the result of the couple's dedication. "I was simply there to document and have fun!" she wrote.

Instead of Dalmatians, the engagement photos feature the couple's Labradors, Mookie and Izabella, and the shoot took place in a suburb of Chicago, rather than New York. Otherwise, the photo series is a nigh-perfect replica of the opening sequence in all its awkward, romantic, super-freakin'-cute glory — it's easy to see how the photos became so popular online. The results are nothing short of, well, magical.

First, let's a look at the original sequence in case you need a refresher.

And now, check out Collier and Jones' photo shoot below. Be careful, though, or your heart might explode from the cuteness.
