The Kardashians' Emmys Style Has Certainly Changed

When you think of great television, you almost have to consider Keeping Up with the Kardashians. No, really, hear me out: they've been on air since 2007 and have more episodes than I Love Lucy. So it's no surprise that the Kardashians are attending the Emmy Awards this Sunday. For fun, here's a look back at past Kardashian Emmy award looks.

The Emmy awards exist to honor excellence in television industry. The show began as Kris Jenner's great idea, and she got Ryan Seacrest to produce it and the rest is history. While the show has millions of viewers and a half-dozen spinoff shows (like Dash Dolls and Kourtney and Kloe Take Miami, they still have yet to win the coveted Emmy.

On Sunday, it's likely the two heads of the television empire, Kim and Kris, will walk the red carpet. While I hope to see other family members (let's be real — Kylie. I'm obsessed) it's always been Kim and Kris at the helm. They've attended previous Emmy award shows together, and one year pregnant Kourtney tagged along. I can't wait to see who we see this year.

1. Kim's Grecian Look

I love this look from the 2010 Emmy awards. This was right around the time Kim's style started to change to something less early-2000s-video-honey to something more subdued, yet fashion forward.

2. Kris' 50 Shades of Grey Ensemble

We see you, Kris Jenner-now-maybe-turning-Kardashian. Never one to give her daughter all the spotlight, Kris' 2010 ensemble gave off major momager vibes.

3. Kim's Strobed Look

Maybe the Emmy awards are where her obsession with monochromatic, neutral looks really began. While this dress isn't my favorite, her strobing is on point. This was 2009, so it's clear she's always been ahead of the makeup game.

4. Kourtney's Mama Glam

Aw! The ultimate mom before it all began in 2009. Her look is simple and elegant, which is why it still looks great years later.

5. Kris Back In Black

I'm detecting a theme here: Kris is the darker, edgier version of Kim K. Go, girl. In 2009, Kris' elegant, yet a little rock 'n' roll look was her choice to present in for the 2013 Daytime Emmys, and she totally slayed.

Even her nails came to play. What better way to let that diamond shine!

6. Kris' Floral Look

Oh my, how times have changed. This is Kris' chosen look for the 2004 Emmys, and I must say. looking at this is like opening up a time capsule. Is that a pseudo-starfish on her boobs? IMHO, both Jenners are looking much better and more fashionable, these days.

7. Kris Goes Bold

That bow is bold and Kris is totally rocking it. While this isn't my favorite of her looks, I have to give it to Kris circa 2008 — woman has no fear.
