Love ‘em or hate ‘em there are just certain hairstyles that are iconic, and there’s no better place to track the trends of the time than at red carpet events. The hairstyles at the ‘00s Emmy Awards really capture the decade, for better or for worse. You can’t blame these celebs for their hairstyles of the past, because even though we may cringe at them now, because at the time they were super popular.

Celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston and Kristen Bell and everyone in between were totally caught trending in terms of their hair in the ‘00s. These celebs rocked everything from side-swept bangs to curls only at the bottom, which were so typical for the time. I mean, these hairdos must have been in — they wore them on the red carpet, no less.

In terms of really nailing it for the era, some A-listers did it better than others. Take a look at nine of the most ‘00s looks worn at the Emmy Awards.
