Did You Know Kristin Cavallari Designs Jewelry?

by Renata Certo-Ware

She's already a fashion expert, presenter, author, retired reality star, mother and footballer's wife (phew!) but as of last year, Kristin Cavallari is also a jewelry designer, as you may or may not know. Her line, Emerald Duv, is a collection of boho-chic jewelry that Cavallari launched along with her BFF Chelsea Bulte in 2014, and they've already put out a pair of seriously chic campaigns, starring Cavallari herself, naturally. Bulte, who lives in Malibu, is also a proud mama and loves sharing snaps of her family life, friends, fashion, and plenty of gorgeous Cali beaches on her Instagram account.

The jewelry is handmade in Bali and LA, and you can snag it via the brand's online shop as well as through a handful of retailers like Planet Blue and Forever21, which stocks several styles including the #totesadorbs Unicorn Pendant Necklace ($69).

On a segment of Yahoo Style's show Coffee Break @ NYFW, Cavallari gets candid about the line, which she admits has skewed bohemian. They're working on incorporatng some daintier elements as well, which she feels better reflect her personal style as a self-described petite woman (she's actually 5'6") who can sometimes get "eaten up" by clothing and accessories.

Most pieces are très affordable; bracelets run from $19.50 to $55 while rings range in price from $10 to $48 and necklaces ring in at $24 to $69.

Personally, I need to get my hands on this set of "Best Bitches" necklaces...

...so I can go halfsies with my BFF's in snarky style (I have a couple besties, since I tend to go HAM when it comes to friendship, so maybe buying a few sets is in order.)

I also love this Turkish-inspired necklace with coins:

Perfect for adding some effortless Cali-cool to an off-duty look.

And, it looks like the pair is planning on adding a home line, as well:

Cavallari spent time last week testing out different scents for a candle collection, which she promises will be ready in time for the Holidays.

As for the line's name? It's actually a cute story: “We both have babies born in May and wanted to come up with a name that resembled both of us. We used their birthstone – emerald – and doves come in a pair, or twos,” Bulte told Malibu Surfside News.
