Taylor Swift Should Have Been At The Emmys

Taylor Swift is the belle of every proverbial ball she attends; any occasion upon which Swift graces a red carpet is a moment for the history books. It was my sincerest wish that Swift would gift the masses by attending the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards. Though being the unofficial queen of the universe must take up a lot of her time, Taylor Swift deserved to attend the Emmys and make all of our wildest dreams come true. Sadly, that's not what happened. But, she did win an Emmy, so there's that!

And, she has not been shy about her win either. Taylor Swift received an Emmy for Original Interactive Program for her AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience which she starred in and also executive produced. In case you missed out on the one-of-a-kind project, the AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience allowed spectators to explore the video set of "Blank Space" from all angles with the help of a 360-degree camera.

Unfortunately, the Creative Arts Emmys were held earlier this week, so she had no explicit reason to attend the Emmys, other than making all of us happy. But, we've at least got to live vicariously through her enjoyment since receiving the award. Swift was overjoyed to receive the Emmy and has been rather active on Instagram and Twitter in celebrating her win. And, T. Swift is half way to an EGOT now. So, she may not have shown up for the primetime show, but at least she's doing just fine.
