Premiere week isn't just for your grandparents and their stack of TV Guides anymore, kids. You don't need a television set to get back into your favorite shows. How do you stream Gotham Season 2, for example? The Fox series premieres Monday, and word on the street is that the villains are rising.
Gotham is a Batman show that has very little to do with the hero himself. Sure, little Bruce is there, but the show is decidedly about the rise of the baddies in Gotham City rather than the Bat. The show's first season covered the Wayne murders, Detective Gordon's arrival in a losing job, and an intricate war between the city's organized crime families. Many characters died, and at least two of the good guys, Ed Nygma and Barbara Gordon, succumbed to the dark side. In Season 2, Bruce Wayne will presumably learn about his mysterious father, and even more nefarious characters will try to come out on top. Whether we finally meet the Joker or not this Season, you won't want to miss the twists and turns.
Fortunately for all of us, there are a lot of options when it comes to streaming television, and watching Gotham could not be easier. Here are some of the ways you can ditch traditional methods and still stay current.
Hulu+
With a subscription, you can watch new episodes the day after they air. It's like a DVR for your TV. Without a subscription, you may just have to wait a little longer. There are also fancy subscription options that eliminate ads, which is fun if you're willing to pay extra.
FoxNow
The FoxNow app will stream episodes on the website or on any device. You will, however, need cable information to log in.
Other Methods
Have you checked your television's OnDemand listings? What about your cable provider's streaming apps for devices on the go? Would you consider paying for a season pass or individual episodes (if you missed them live) on iTunes, Amazon, or Google Play? If you only watch a handful of shows, that's a good way to save money in the long run. No matter which method you choose, you're all set to watch Gotham Season 2 and delve deep into this dark world.
