Do Not Share This Photo Of Ruby Rose

by Sienna Fantozzi

Guys, Ruby Rose is not happy. According to Lucky Shops, The Untitled Magazine published an allegedly unauthorized photo of Ruby Rose that revealed her nipple in their "Girl Power" issue — and then refused to apologize, according to the actress/model/DJ.

Apparently, the Orange is the New Black star did a shoot for The Untitled Magazine about eight months ago in a sheer top, but was assured that the image in question would absolutely not run in the magazine. Whether from a breakdown in communication or just disregard for Rose's wishes, the magazine decided to run the photo in the most recent October issue, in addition to also selling the photo to other publications, according to Rose.

Rose took to social media to defend herself, calling out the publication on Instagram for being "exploitative." The magazine left a comment on the post claiming the images were approved by Rose's PR team. They also took to Twitter to defend their actions, saying that they would never publish unapproved photos and "do not believe in exploitation." The magazine also tweeted that they believe in promoting female empowerment, not exploitation, to which Rose replied, "just no." I'm not 100 percent positive what went on here, but Rose is not a happy camper.

Here are the tweets from Untitled Mag.

Untitled Mag also sent us the following statement:

The Untitled Magazine would like to clarify that the photo shoot with Ruby Rose, which took place on April 13, 2015 and the interview, which was completed on June 12, 2015 for the #GirlPower Issue of The Untitled Magazine, were with full consent of the actress and her PR team. The Instagram post was the first time we heard any concerns from her or her team regarding the photos that were taken.

We have multiple emails from her team re-iterating how happy they were with the photo shoot, and there were no concerns over the photos raised with the magazine after the shoot took place. The allegations that we tried to sell the photos to other publications is completely false, we do not even manage the re-sell rights to the photos. The photographer maintains the copyright of these photographs and is the only one who can sell them.

We would never publish unauthorized photos of an actress we are profiling in the magazine. The photo shoot was an original production for the magazine's "Girl Power" themed print edition, which was photographed exclusively by female photographers and written exclusive by female journalists in an effort to promote gender equality and female empowerment.

I personally was not on set at the photo shoot, but can attest to the fact that we only received positive emails from her PR team regarding the photo shoot. There were no concerns raised over the sheerness of the clothing or the photos in general after the photo shoot took place. In an email from her PR team to The Untitled Magazine, it was stated, "Thank you again for this! She looked incredible and it was a really great team. I am thrilled and exited to see the final edit."

Ruby is fully clothed throughout the photo shoot. These are not "nude" photos. She agreed to wear the sheer clothing depicted in the images at the shoot. We were not aware of any concerns regarding the clothing after the shoot. In fact these posts from Ruby are the first concerns we have heard from her team regarding doing the shoot or concerns over sheer clothing. If she relayed any concerns to the photographer and team on set this was not relayed to the magazine, which is based in New York City. I personally was not on set for the shoot, and only can state again that I only received positive emails from her team regarding the photos and the photo shoot. The photography is very tasteful and we would never try to "exploit" talent we feature in the magazine. The interview is equally very positive and focuses on her career and feminism.

If you're a Ruby Rose fan, you can still show your support for the celeb by sharing one of the many super fierce photo shoots she's been a part of.

Her Glassbook cover was seriously bad-freaking-a double s.

She showed her demure, softer side for Sunday Style.

Simple and so stunning.
