There's A Waitlist For Reformation's Wedding Line

by Jessica Willingham

Brides, bridesmaids, and wedding-goers: you are going to love this latest collection of wedding attire, that is, if you can get your hands on it. Reformation launched its new fall wedding collection, and it's as gorgeous as it is rare — because yes, there's already a waitlist for some of the items.

The eco-friendly company launched its fourth wedding collection on Tuesday, complete with maxi dresses, plunging necklines, and capes. Most dresses are in the $200 to $500 price range, though there's a new wedding dress named Dimas that'll cost you $648. But boy, is it beautiful. The other looks are mostly jewel-toned, floral prints, or monochrome neutrals — perfect for the upcoming fall wedding season.

While some of the silhouettes are similar to what the LA-based brand has released in previous bridal collections, Reformation introduced a cape addition for brides and bridesmaids this season. "Get married in a full length cape if you want to," reads the description for the Doris Cape ($198). "It tapers down the front and there are arm openings at the side so it's easy to slip into and out of. Wear it at the ceremony to look a bit more formal, then lose it at the reception to show a bit more skin."

This cape already has an eager waitlist and so does the other cape in the collection, which comes in a rich navy blue."It's your day — put your bridesmaids in full length capes if you want to. We promise, they won't be mad," Ref says. We'll see if this cape frenzy is indicative of the next great bridal trend. I wouldn't be mad.

Capes sound a little strange and Game Of Thrones-esque at first (I'm looking at you, Melisandre), but they definitely have a whimsical and romantic appeal that's perfect for boho brides.

So gorgeous, right?

I can't decide if I love the white or navy more.

Jewel tones are always on trend for the cooler seasons, and the cut of this collection's dresses has an Old Hollywood glamour feel to it.

Luckily, if you're an untraditional bride and want to say yes in a unique bridal dress, you can have it in a variety of colors! My only advice? Buy it now.
