Nicki Minaj Debuted A New Hair Color

Fall is usually the time when everyone seems to want to darken up their hair, but I guess some beauty rules are meant to be broken, because Nicki Minaj debuted blonde hair on Thursday, according to Perez Hilton. Apparently blondes have more fun in the summer and in the fall. And the winter.

The Super Bass singer has experimented with her fair share of hair colors over the years, but appears to have gotten tired of her most recent color, jet black, because she was spotted out in Beverly Hills with a bright blonde head of hair. Minaj was photographed leaving a meeting on Wednesday, giving us all a glimpse of her lightened up locks, and the color looks amaze. Though it's pretty bright, the highlights don't go to the root, so it helps keep the blonde looking way more natural, as well as add depth.

But her lighter color wasn't the only difference — Minaj also showed off some new thick and textured bangs. I mean, go big or go home, right? The fringe definitely adds a cool factor to her hair, which she wore long and stick straight, giving it a '70s, Stevie Nicks-esque vibe. And I'm totally digging it.

Though I'm hoping this look sticks around for a while, knowing Minaj, she'll change it up again soon, just like she did with her black hair:

So maybe she's just going to start repeating colors now? Leave it up to Nicki Minaj to keep us guessing.
