‘Best Time Ever’ Welcomes A Ton Of Amazing Guests

by Emily Lackey

You guys. If you’re not watching Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris , then this is the week to start. Because the host is welcoming so many awesome celebrity guests this week that I literally don’t know what to do with myself. I guess I’ll just sit here and wait for Tuesday night’s episode and dream up all of the things he’ll have his guests do. Because that’s the best part of the show so far: the fact that NPH has his guests do the most hilarious things, like pull pranks, announce guests, and host their own killer games.

On the upcoming Sep. 29 episode, there is a bevvy of stars set to appear, including Tyler Perry, Apolo Ohno, CeeLo Green, Substance Over Hype, and Sister Sledge. Um, yeah. Celebrity overload, am I right? And this is after the last few episodes, where Reese Witherspoon, Alec Baldwin, Britney Spears, Joe Jonas, The Voice coaches, and Seth Meyers all made appearances. It’s a like a buffet of celebrity on that show, and I want to go back for seconds and thirds.

So what will NPH have his guests do on Tuesday night’s episode? I’m hoping more of the same hilarity, but I’m also crossing my fingers that he has some new tricks up his sleeve. And, just in case he doesn’t, I’ve come up with a list of things I’d love to see these celebs do. Because that’s the best part about the show: Seeing celebrities be themselves in hilarious situations.

1. Pranks

NPH already got Britney Spears to prank interviewees who were applying to be her bodyguard. The best part of the whole thing? They really got into it. Like the one guy who danced with her on stage to blend in and didn’t even bat an eye. More of that, please!

2. Interview Each Other

I’d love to see what celebrities want to know about each other, wouldn’t you? Like what would Tyler Perry ask CeeLo Green if he got the chance to interview him? Maybe who “Forget You” was really about?

3. Perform As His Band

Clearly the line up NPH has set for the Sep. 29 airing has some serious musical talent. Who wouldn’t want to see CeeLo Green and Sister Sledge perform as the show’s band for the entire night? If Reese Witherspoon can be the show’s announcer, then why couldn’t other celebs stand in for the show’s musical portion?

4. Have The Audience Interview The Celebrities

Q&A style. I wanna see these celebs answer some real questions. Not just the ones their publicist okayed with the host ahead of time. How funny/awkward/awesome would that get?

Whatever Neil Patrick Harris has these guests do, it’s bound to be good. Now if I can just contain my enthusiasm until Tuesday night…
