'Booty Call' Director Jeff Pollack is Dead

It was the movie that Jamie Foxx probably wants to forget. A film that as a kid, we'd snicker at while passing in Blockbuster because of the hilarious and suggestive cover art, and now, the director of Booty Call, Jeff Pollack, has died. Pollack, who was also a producer on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, was found dead Monday morning in Hermosa beach, California. The 54-year-old director was found by a female jogger, dressed in workout clothes and an iPod nano that was playing music by the Eagles. There is no foul play suspected, but an autopsy has yet to determine the cause of death. The director was an avid runner and baseball player.

In the early 90s, Pollack wrote and directed a basketball drama starring Tupac Shakur. After Booty Call, he directed the 1999 comedy Lost and Found starring David Spade. And recently, Pollack teamed with Jeff Beacher to create Beacher's Madhouse, a popular hidden club inside the Roosevelt hotel (and one of Miley Cyrus's favorite spots). The club is set to open up another location in Las Vegas on Friday, Dec. 17, and the "Wrecking Ball" singer herself will host the opening.
