Ryan Gosling, Danielle Brooks & 8 Other Celebs We Can't Wait to See More of in 2014

2013 was a pretty good year for celeb crushin'. We all loved Jennifer Lawrence. Sandra Bullock was ever-so-entertaining. Justin Timberlake was the man of the summer. Everyone finally jumped on board the HMS Benedict Cumberbatch. And oh yeah our Lord and Savior Beysus blessed us all in such a big way.

All in all, I liked the faces that were all over 2013. Aside from a few repeat offenders: Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Kimye. Ugh, just quiet down, you guys.

There were, however, a few faces sorely missing from this year in pop culture, as well as a few we got a taste of, and want more of. So here's to 2014 and the celebs we need all over the Interwebs, where they rightfully belong.

Ryan Gosling

Ryan, baby, where have you BEEN in 2013? Probably taking your mom on glorious adventures and saving the lives of random New Yorkers. We get it, you have other things to do. Just, come back to us. Please.

Oscar Isaac

The Inside Llewyn Davis actor broke out in a big way in 2013. He’s got at least four films coming out in 2014. Here’s to lots more of this guy. Swoon.

Emma Stone

EMMA! We miss you. I know J. Law is like, the best and everything, but really YOU were totally the Internet’s original BFF. And there’s room for all of us to hang out, so Emma, come hang.

Danielle Brooks

Taystee is basically everyone’s favorite character on Orange Is the New Black —and for good reason. Brooks totally steals the show. She’s also appearing as the first African American woman on the new season of Girls . We’re expecting a big career for you, Ms. Brooks.

Adam Pally

We fell in love with you in Happy Endings and were thrilled that The Mindy Project totally scooped you up. And with two films coming out in 2014, it won’t be long before Pally is everyone’s next big crush.

John Mulaney

If you have any friends who are really into stand-up comedy, then you’ve probably heard them talk about John Mulaney. The Saturday Night Live writer and genius stand-up had a series developed for NBC which was unfortunately dropped … and then thankfully picked up by Fox. Get pumped for 2014 and Mulaney joining New Girl, The Mindy Project and Brooklyn Nine-Nine in the “totally awesome Fox comedies that no one saw coming” category.

Michael B. Jordan

Jordan had a huge 2013 and a major breakout role in the drama Fruitvale Station. With Oscar speculations and major films being released and filmed in 2014, it’s clear we’re going to be seeing a lot more from this talented actor. He’s graduated from Friday Night Lights to the big leagues. Welcome.

Greta Gerwig

Girlfriend, are you our next Julie Delpy? As in, are you going to keep writing and acting in all of our favorite indie films that break our hearts as much as they make us laugh? Okay, fiiiiiiine, we’re on board.

Edward Norton

ED! You were hi-freakin-larious on Saturday Night Live. Not only did your hosting stint make us rejoice for the sake of late night comedy, it also made us go, “Hey! Edward Norton is great. Where the heck has he been!?” Oh you have two movies coming out in 2014 including Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel? Cool, cool. See you then, Ed.

Harry Lloyd

That’s it, I’m calling it. The Game of Thrones star will be the next subject of our Anglophilia. Joining the ranks of Mr. Cumberbatch, Mr. Hiddleston, and Mr. Cavill. God Save the Queen.
