J.K. Rowling Addresses Fan Theories On Twitter

by Emma Cueto

J.K. Rowling is an author who isn't shy about interacting with her fans on social media, especially when it comes to providing new details about Harry Potter and the wizarding world. In fact, recently, J.K. Rowling answered three lucky fans' questions on Twitter and addressed a few of the more unusual Harry Potter fan theories floating around. And naturally, fans are always eager to keep track of every possible detail about our beloved wizarding world.

While J.K Rowling doesn't respond to all of the many thousands of questions fans send her way, she has been known to provide some answers. Her Twitter revelations have come in lots of different forms: She's provided further details about the wizarding world, like when she confirmed there is an American magical school, or made clear there was at least one Jewish wizard at Hogwarts. She's also replied to real life situations, like saying Hermione would be proud of Emma Watson's UN speech, or shutting down haters who don't like the fact that Dumbledore is gay. She also keeps us up to date with the wizarding world, letting us know when big events are happening, like James Sirius Potter heading off to Hogwarts.

It's also possible that Rowling is keeping an eye on the Harry Potter fandom on Tumblr, which might be why she chose to address two of the more unconventional theories fans asked about on Twitter last week.

So, what are her answers? Well, first up, she addressed the idea that Ron is really a time-traveling Dumbledore (or that Dumbledore is a time-traveling Ron).

Next, she let us all know whether Draco Malfoy is secretly a werewolf.

And finally, she also answered a question that, while offbeat, wasn't a fan theory.

So there you have it! Now you are all caught up on all the Harry Potter information available. That should keep fans satisfied — at least for about five more minutes before we start spinning more theories.
