9 Disney Villians Reimagined As Pinup Models

LA-based artist Andrew Tarusov has reimagined Disney villains as pinup models, and it's impossible not to stare at these images for hours on end. Tarusov is also responsible for the recreating Disney princesses as pinup models, so it's no surprise that he knocked this one right out of the park, too. We've seen some incredible variations on Disney princesses recently, including the Kardashians as Disney princesses — a personal favorite. (I mean, it doesn't get better than Kris Jenner as Maleficent.) But the detail and insight into what these villains would look like in this new element is really second to none.

I can't imagine what Disney spin-off will come next, but I feel pretty confident that this work is setting the bar high in terms of stripped down villains. And while I must admit that I’ve never wanted to see that much of Ursula from the Little Mermaid (simply because she’s ~terrifying~), now that I’ve seen it, I can’t stop looking. On top of that, these are ultra body- and sex-positive reinterpretations of our favorite villains that even non-Disney fans can get behind. Maybe it's time for us to start rooting for a different team? Here are nine Disney villains reimagined as pinup models:

Cruella de Vil, 101 Dalmatians

Never got a "come and get it" vibe from her until now.

Ursula, The Little Mermaid

Damn, those are some nicely drawn octopus tentacles.

Queen of Hearts, Alice in Wonderland

Casually strangling the flamingo.

The Evil Queen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

This definitely wins for "The One I Can't Stop Staring At." She owns that apple.

Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty

Paste Kris Jenner's face on that and it would be Internet GOLD.

Madame Medusa, The Rescuers

A Disney villain in thigh-highs ain't something you see everyday.

Madame Mim, The Sword in the Stone

Work that cauldron, honey.
