Bieber's Lawyers Threaten To Sue Over Nude Pics

by Kristie Rohwedder

Well, it was only a matter of time: Justin Bieber’s legal team is none too pleased with those nude pics that hit the Internet this week. Wednesday, the New York Daily News shared photos of a very naked Bieber without the pop star's consent. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber’s legal team sent a cease and desist letter to the Daily News shortly after the photos, which were taken while the “What Do You Mean?” was vacationing with rumored girlfriend Jayde Pierce in Bora Bora, went live. According to THR, the letter demands that the Daily News take the pics off of the site immediately or face legal action. You know, because it's a gross violation of the dude's privacy.

According to THR, Bieber's lawyers gave the Daily News 12 hours to pull the photographs entirely. I just checked the Daily News to see if the pics are still up (for journalism, I swear), and as of this very moment, the photos have yet to be removed. So there that is. How will this end? I don't have a crystal ball, so I can't tell you for certain.

Here's what I do know for certain: Celebs shouldn't have to worry that their junk might end up on the Internet without their permission. Let the celebs skinny dip in peace. Let the celebs live.
