Well, this is certainly starting the new year off on a high note. According to Us Weekly, Eve and her designer beau, Maximillion Cooper, got engaged over the holidays. Aww, congrats guys! The two were reportedly together for at least two years before getting engaged. As they've both been living in London as Eve works on her new music, the two were spending the holidays in Edinburgh, Scotland when Cooper popped the question.
Though it took a few days, Eve has personally commented on the engagement: To start, she posted the following tidbits of info on her Instagram, perhaps hinting at the news: In one photo with her mother and brother, Eve is seen wearing a flashy diamond ring, as the photo is captioned, "#familytime!!!! Me and my mom and my lil brother Farrod just got to the English country side. Feel so#blessed to be with my family and sharing my life here. I pray that you bring 2014 in with people you #love. And nothing but #good #energy." When asked in the comments about the engagement rumors, Eve didn't exactly deny anything either — she instead just commented with little heart emojis, which in Internet language means yes. That was followed by a tweet today, thanking fans for their words of congratulations about the engagement:
