You Have To Try Jessica's DIY Hair Mask

by Sienna Fantozzi

It should be an unwritten rule or something that celebrities have to share beauty secrets with us. I mean, they get all this insider knowledge from the pros, and when you look flawless 99.9 percent of the time — it's your duty to spill the beans. Luckily for us, Jessica Alba talked beauty tips with Elle and spoiler: you're definitely going to want to try her avocado hair mask.

Not only is Alba completely stunning, but she also has a makeup and skincare collection, Honest Beauty, so if she's dolling out advice, I'm all ears. The lifestyle mogul sat down with Elle to talk about her business, and revealed some of her beauty tips, including the ritual she absolutely swears by. It turns out — avocado is good for way more than toast.

Alba's favorite DIY beauty treatment is an avocado hair mask, made by mashing up two avocados with a cup of olive oil and applying it only the ends of her hair. She wraps it in a towel and sits either under heat or in the sun for 5-15 minutes, and then rinses with cold water. The result? Shiny and silky strands. Sign me up.

Alba also swears by eyelash curlers and drinking TONS of water, according to Elle.
