For these celebrities, 2014 wasn't the only thing to celebrate when the clock hit midnight on Dec. 31. Olivia Palermo and boyfriend Johannes Huebl got engaged. They rang in the new year with a resounding "YES" when he proposed to her on the beach in St. Barts. Dreamy, huh? But they weren't the only ones starting their new year knee-deep in love. A handful of other celebs, including Kaley Cuoco and fiancé Ryan Sweeting, chose to have their big moments fall on the start of 2014.

Bones star Thyne went all out for his proposal to his model girlfriend Leah Park. He asked for her hand in marriage while standing at the center of a candlelit heart outside of a German castle. Park called it a “fairytale engagement” on her Instagram account — we couldn’t agree more.

Caroline Wozniacki & Rory McIlroy
These two are just adorable. The tennis star broke the news that her pro-golfer boyfriend had proposed on Dec. 31 in Melbourne on her Twitter with this collage and the tweet:
“@Carowozniacki: Happy New Year everyone! Rory and I started 2014 with a bang! … I said YES!!!!”
And McIlroy posted an equally adorable tweet to his account with the same photo attached that read:
“@McIlroyRory: Happy New Year everyone! I have a feeling it’s going to be a great year!! My first victory of 2014 #shesaidyes!!”

The Even Stevens star married her longtime love Brendan Rooney at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Alberta, Canada on Dec. 31 in an intimate ceremony. Ren Stevens might be all grown up, but she’s still a perfectionist at heart — Romano retweeted a photo of herself gluing individual flower petals onto clear, plastic sheets for wedding decor on Christmas Eve.

All American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter tied the knot with his actress fiancé Elena Satine in a small ceremony in Seaside, FL on Dec. 31. We can only pray that “Swing Swing” played at the country-themed reception.

The Sin City 2 actress and How To Make It In America star boyfriend allegedly got engaged during their holiday trip to Turks and Caicos. The couple have been dating since 2012 when they met at Coachella. Details about the proposal haven’t surfaced yet, but we really hope Greenberg, who’s also a musician and singer, played her something really romantic on the guitar before popping the question.
