You're Going To Have To Watch This Show

Ugh, I'm going to have to start watching Switched at Birth, aren't I? We're all going to have to start watching Switched at Birth, aren't we? Yes. Yes we will — and it's all because of Walt Jr. Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, we now have our first look at R.J. Mitte on ABC Family's Switched at Birth , in his first post-Breaking Bad role. Unsurprisingly, it's a pretty adorable clip — after all, Mitte is one endearing dude.

Mitte's role in the series was previously announced a few months ago as a "recurring role," and this clip certainly sets up for him to become at least a little involved in the lives of the characters on the series. We don't know much about him yet — the clip is, after all, only a minute long — but it does reveal that he's a pre-med student who was paralyzed in a snowboarding accident, and has a really cool car. Also, his name is Campbell, which is a big improvement on the name Walt Jr.

In the clip, he meets Daphne (Katie Leclerc) outside of a free clinic, just as she's missed her bus. He offers to give her a ride home in his car, but she thinks he means on his lap, because WHAT ELSE COULD HE POSSIBLY MEAN WHEN THERE'S A CAR RIGHT NEXT TO THEM? Oh, Daphne.

You can check out the clip below. Mitte's debut on the series can be seen when the series returns to ABC Family on Jan. 13.
