'Gilmore Girls' Fans Are Losing It Right Now

by Lia Beck

Have you heard the news? If you're a Gilmore Girls fan, on Monday, Oct. 19 "the news" can only mean one thing: the rumored Gilmore Girls revival that may be airing on Netflix. According to The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and stars Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham are in negotiations with Netflix to bring the series back to fans' screens everywhere. Rejoice! Well, rejoice at the possibility for now. Netflix tells Bustle they are not commenting on the reports.

Still, the rumor of a Gilmore Girls revival is enough to be excited about. That's better than where fans were only hours before when there where no rumors. Man, how the world can change in an instant! And just think of the possibilities! Will there be a time jump? How big will the time jump be? Will Rory be the mom now? Will Lorelai be a grandma? Will they still talk that fast? Will Jess return?! What even is happening?!

You know what? I'm not even going to keep spewing off thoughts because the true die-hard fans are way better at it and they are not holding back on Twitter at all. From questions to references to doubts to SO MUCH CAPITALIZATION, here's what fans are saying.

Update: TV Line reports that there will be an eight-year time jump and that all of Rory's boys will be back for the show! Also, Lauren Graham has shared something very cryptic on Twitter about her involvement.
