You Must See This Crazy-Seductive Book Cover

It’s not every day you see a book cover so gorgeous that you want to recommend it to everyone you know before even having read the book, but this is one of those rare occasions: the new Anton DiSclafani book cover has been revealed, and it’s definitely one you’re going to want to see on your bookshelf. If you read DiSclafani’s The Yonahlossee Riding Camp For Girls in 2013, you’re probably still nursing a serious book hangover — but I’m coming at you right now with some hair of the dog. DiSclafani’s latest novel is called The After Party, and the cover is so seductive that your hangover blues will be gone at once, and you’ll feel ready to dive straight back into partying. (And by partying, I obviously mean reading like it’s 1999.)

The After Party, which will be published in May 2016, is set in 1950s Texas, and follows an obsessive friendship between two women. The cover is so steamy, sultry, and glamorous that from the second you see it (patience, grasshopper, we’re getting there), you’re just dying to know all the secrets that woman is keeping.
