How To Be Adele From "Hello" For Halloween

by Augusta Statz

I couldn’t be more excited that this artist is finally back — and singing make-up songs instead of break-up songs, this time around. Channel Adele in the “Hello” music video this Halloween and be all sorts of glamorous. From heavy black liner to a some fabulous fur, there’s no reason not to make this your costume, especially since we are down to the wire here, people! Halloween is only a little more than a week away, after all.

Luckily, you may already have several of these pieces in your wardrobe. If not, you’re going to have to expedite shipping on these bad boys! Adele pairs her longline fur coat with a plaid shirt and bold-print scarf because she can mix and match patterns like no other, apparently. A chic black boot and some pointed nails add a little extra glam to the outfit. And her voluminous hair perfectly tops off this whole from another era, high-style vibe she has going on. Powerhouse vocals would really complete this look, but, hey, we can’t all be Adele, right?

You may not be able to sing like her, but dressing like her will be a cinch if you pair pieces similar to these together. Have yourself one chic Halloween with this Adele-level costume.

Who wouldn't want to dress like that, you know?

Here's how to pull off this costume.

1. Pull Out Your Old Flip Phone

You know you've still got it, somewhere.

2. Use Liquid Liner

Dramatically Defined Liquid Liner, $6.99, Target

Pull off that beautiful, but tortured soul look with some heavy liner.

3. Amp Up Your Nail Game

Champagne Stiletto False Nails, $9.45, Etsy

Adele had some amazing nails, but you can achieve that look for yourself with these false nails.

4. Throw On Some Fur

How incredibly luxe is this coat? You can wear it for Halloween and, like, every other day, too.

5. Wear Plaid

Tartan Plain Shirt, $17.90, Forever 21

Pair a simple shirt with your out of this world coat.

6. Add A Scarf With A Bold Print

Square Scarf In Leopard Print, $25.08, ASOS

Because there's nothing wrong with mixing and matching.

7. Put On A Chic Black Boot

Tie it all together with a black boot.

Now all you need is this piercing gaze. Well, hello.
