Eva's New Honor is Impressive

Eva Longoria is a rather stunning woman. In fact she's a stunning woman with the credentials to prove it, as Eva Longoria's also Maxim's Woman of the Year, which is pretty impressive in a number of ways, considering that 1) you probably can't name all that much that Longoria's been up to this past year other than those chip commercials, and 2) she is neither super young nor super white.

Now, let's not get things twisted here: Longoria's not exactly creaking along towards death's door. She's only 38, but still, it's nice of them not to go with a Miley Cyrus type considering, well, that the same publication named Cyrus their hottest woman of the year.

Longoria's still most well-known for her role in Desperate Housewives, and it's cool to see that she's still getting so much mileage out of a show that ended two years ago. And in honor of how long it's been since that show put her on the map, Longoria did some reminiscing with the mag:

It's especially awesome after how long it's been since my first cover. [...] I've had a beautiful relationship with Maxim over all these years … When someone sees the cover of this issue, they're going to say, '¡Que rico!' … [You] say it when something is really good.

Get it, girl. You work those chip commercials.
