Meet ABC Family's New Roster Of Stars

by Alanna Bennett

I have an interesting relationship with ABC Family. Namely I cannot stop watching it, no matter how years pass since I was the twelve year old discovering the wonders of its 7th Heaven reruns for the first time (it was a dark time). From Make It Or Break It to Greek, from The Fosters and even to freaking Baby Daddy, I keep watching. I also feel like I'm not the only one. Which is why it's news that ABC Family just picked up a whole host of shows, featuring the likes of B-listers Tori Spelling, Ashley Tisdale, Emily Osment, and Jennie Garth.

OK, maybe C-listers. Not that there's anything wrong with that — work is work, and ABC Family sitcoms have at least a like 40 percent chance of being just charming enough for me to marathon when I'm sick. This was the network of Bunheads, after all.

The shows in question include Mystery Girls, which will star Beverly Hills 90210 alums Garth and Spelling. Tisdale will produce (and I'd guess also appear in?) Young & Hungry, which will star former Hannah Montana bestie Emily Osment.

Maybe one of these shows will even sooth the rabid void the cancellation of Jane By Design formed in my heart.

(Shut up, it was charming.)
