Where To Get Your Free Taco Bell A.M. Crunchwrap

by Jaime Lutz

Taco Bell apparently said that if anyone stole a base during the World Series, they'd give out free A.M. Crunchwraps to everyone in America. Well America, crunch time (get it?) is upon us, leaving many to wonder: where you can get your free A.M. Crunchwraps from Taco Bell?

During the first World Series game (which I didn't watch because, alas, these people catching balls don't really affect me, etc), Lorenzo Cain of The Kansas City Royals stole second base, ensuring that all Americans — Mets fans and Royals fans alike — could get an A.M. Crunchwrap to make their standard work breakfast a little greasier and a little crunchier. By the way, with a final score of 7-1, the Royals ended up winning their second game in a row against the New York Mets last night (in case you're coming to me for baseball news).

So what are the details of this "Steal a Base, Steal a Breakfast" promotion? All you have to do is go to a participating Taco Bell in one of the 50 states or D.C. on Thursday, November 5 (next week) between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. (expect lines and get there early).

Remember this guy?

Order an A.M. Crunchwrap — a delicious-looking confection of eggs, meat, cheese, a hashbrown, and hot sauce inside the standard crunchy/chewy tortilla case. The breakfast sandwich is usually $2.50, a price that Taco Bell customers in U.S. territories and other countries will continue to have to pay that day (thank God for the national pastime!). And by the way — you're limited to only one Crunchwrap per person, so make sure you make it count.

Some more fine print about the promotion is available here, and you can use the handy widget on the Taco Bell site at that link to seek out a location near your home or work — no need for a breakfast promotion to make you late for work. Though, considering that it's a free breakfast, maybe your boss will understand (and want one herself).
