What To Expect When Teresa Returns To 'RHONJ'

by Caitlyn Callegari

Can you believe that it has almost been a year since Teresa Giudice went away to prison? I know, neither can I. But the reality star’s sentence is almost up (according to her lawyer she'll be released around Christmastime), and she isn’t just coming home to husband Joe Giudice and their four kids; she’s reportedly coming back into fans' homes, as well. Teresa is reportedly returning to Real Housewives of New Jersey for Season 7, undoubtedly a changed woman, but there are still certain things we know to expect from the vivacious and feisty Bravo staple.

Hopefully, a lot of the past drama regarding old friends and family is snuffed out, and Teresa can start anew. Old drama is boring anyway. What us fans actually want to see is her unparalleled personality back in action. You know, the GIF-worthy reactions and Vine-able catch phrases. I want the next season of RHONJ to be lighter and for Teresa to have more fun with it. Drama is undoubtedly a part of the Real Housewives patchwork, but so is humor, and Teresa always knew how to effortlessly bring us both.

Here are 12 things that fans can most definitely expect from Teresa's return to Real Housewives of New Jersey.

1. A Bit Of Debauchery

The good kind.

2. Perhaps A Stronger Concentration On Her Faith

After all, prison is a place with a lot of time to reflect on this sort of thing.

3. Sorely Missed Zingers

Tre never was one to hold back, and it makes for great television.

4. A Renewed Sense Of Self

Clearly, she must have learned a lot over this past year with the scandal that came from her legal issues and from serving her sentence.

5. Family Fierceness

Mama Bear is ba-ack. And after spending a year away from her children, you know there won't be anything she won't do to protect them now that she's out.

6. A Greater, More Vocal Appreciation For Her Support System

Not that she was ungrateful before, but it's clear through her sporadic tweets that she has a better understanding of the blessings in her life.

7. Increased Glamour

You're never fully dressed without a gold ensemble, am I right?

8. Fantastic Facial Expressions

That pretty much says it all.

9. Sentimental Moments With Joe

They're in for a rough couple of years, and if there's any overlap where they're both at home between their sentences, I think they're going to get quality time in when they can.

10. Spray Tans

What else did you expect?

11. A Look At Her Memoir

According to People, the memoir will be called, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again and will come out on Feb. 9, 2016. Maybe we'll get to see her pen some of it on the show.

12. A New Relationship With Gia

On The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, Gia explained that, "Most 14-year-olds are not equipped to deal with the situation that I'm dealing with." I'm inclined to agree. I think we'll witness a newfound respect and admiration that Teresa will have for her daughter because of the way she "stepped up," as People puts it.

Mark my words, we'll see all this and more upon her return. I'm sure of it.
