The New Chips Ahoy! Cookie Sounds Delicious

by Michelle Regalado

As the temperatures continue to dip and the holiday season quickly comes into view, it looks like everyone is switching their attention from pumpkin spice to more classic winter flavors. Case in point? Chips Ahoy! is unveiling a yummy new treat just in time for the brutally cold months ahead: the Hot Cocoa Chips Ahoy! cookie.

Hitting store shelves on Nov. 2, the chocolate cookie is filled with a soft cocoa center, and is loaded with marshmallows and classic chocolate chips. That alone sounds pretty darn delicious, but the best part? The cookie flavor was designed to be heated in the microwave for a few seconds and then eaten warm — giving you all the feels and tastes of a freshly baked treat without any of the actual work. Is there anything better than a warm, gooey chocolate cookie on a cold day? I don't think so!

The hot cocoa cookie is a limited-edition offering, which means the treats will only be available for about six to eight weeks depending on your local market. So keep your eyes peeled when you hit the grocery store throughout this month and in early December. From the (all-too-delicious) sounds of it, you definitely don't want to go the whole winter without trying out the new Hot Cocoa Chips Ahoy! cookie. I never thought I would say this, but winter is coming, and it doesn't sound half bad.
