How Did Sandy Do at the PCAs?

Well, this is no surprise. Thanks to her role in last year's epic space film Gravity, Sandra Bullock completely sweeped the People's Choice Awards in LA last night, winning trophies in the coveted best movie actress, best comedic and drama actress (for The Heat and Gravity), and best movie duo with her Gravity co-star, the ever-charming George Clooney. The Heat also won favorite comedic movie. Sure, in the long run, the People's Choice Awards don't mean much — but it's still a pretty flattering thing to be given, considering its based off of a voting system.

Also big winners at the show last night: Ellen DeGeneres took home her 14th consecutive trophy for favorite talk show host (well deserved), setting the record for single person to win the most People's Choice Award trophies. Her response in her acceptance speech was pretty adorable too: "As a young girl growing up in New Orleans, if anyone would have told me I was going to win 14 People's Choice Awards I...I mean 12, yes. 13, maybe. But 14?"

Iron Man 3 won big last night as well, taking home three trophies in total: Favorite movie, favorite action movie, and favorite action movie star for Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr.
