Adele Can't Post Her Own Tweets

Have you ever scrolled through Twitter and thought a celebrity might be drunk tweeting? I think most Twitter users are guilty of doing the very same thing. If you have the will power to not tweet while drunk and let the world know your thoughts at that very moment, then I commend you. I mean, even Adele is guilty of drunk tweeting. During her Adele at the BBC special hosted by Graham Norton, which airs Nov. 20 in the U.K., Adele admitted that she isn't allowed to tweet solely by herself anymore, because of past drunk incidents. An audience member said to the "Hello" singer, "Rumor has it, you're not allowed access to your own Twitter account." Adele responded,

That is true, yeah, ha ha ha. I'm not a drinker any more, but when Twitter first came out I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times. So my management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone. But they're all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me. So yeah, that's very, very true.

I'm going to need the exact dates of all her drunk tweets, because I need to read them, stat. I have a feeling they're just as glorious as her song "Hello." Anyways, the 27-year-old singer isn't the only celebrity guilty of logging onto Twitter to express her drunk thoughts. For example, Anna Kendrick drunk tweets all the time.

As she told E! News,

I drunk draft and I double check them in the morning. Although I have done a handful of drunk tweets and so far people have not been able to tell the difference. Although, I’m not quite sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing that my sober tweets could be drunk tweets.

Kendrick and Adele aren't alone. Both Sam Smith and Blake Shelton have openly admitted they were drunk while on Twitter:

You have to admire their honesty. So, next time you're on Twitter, take some time to analyze and see if you can tell if you're reading a drunk tweet or a sober tweet. You could probably even turn it into a drinking game and drink every time you're pretty sure you stumbled upon a celeb intoxicated.
