Jesse Pinkman Might Be Back Very Soon

I'll admit, I was a little bitter on the whole idea of Better Call Saul in the beginning. It just seemed like Breaking Bad was so perfect, why even dare to milk the idea for another show and potentially ruin everything? But, as time passes (and I find myself missing Breaking Bad more and more each day) I grow a little more softer on the idea of this show — and even moreso after reading this. In a new interview with Details, Jesse Pinkman himself, Aaron Paul, revealed that he and Bryan Cranston are interested in appearing in Better Call Saul when it premieres sometime this year, if the show will have them. (Of course the show will have them.)

On Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spinoff: “Both Bryan [Cranston] and I want to be a part of that. If they’ll have us.”

Pair this with the fact that creator Vince Gilligan has said that he wants Breaking Bad cameos on the show, and has gone so far as to name Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) as a likely candidate, it's kind of just starting to seem more like we might actually see Walt and Jesse again after all.

Of course, since the series is a prequel and set before Walt ever enters the meth business, the cameos would have to be small, and unimportant to the overall plot itself — but who cares? If it means seeing Jesse all bright-eyed and happy again for one last time, I'll gladly take it.
