This Is Why Netflix Can NEVER. GO. DOWN. AGAIN.

If you are a human being with Internet access living in the year 2015, you probably know what Netflix is. Hey, maybe you even have a subscription to the service (statistically, you probably do). And, if you are a human being with Internet access and a Netflix subscription and/or Twitter account living in the year 2015, you probably have heard that, for a brief period on Tuesday evening, Netflix was, for all intents and purposes, down.

In other words, the world ended on Tuesday evening.

JK. But honestly, the situation was super dire, especially for people like me who much prefer to sit in bed marathoning Jane The Virgin episodes to actually going outside and having a social life. (Don't judge me. It's raining outside and I want to get my money's worth of my subscription!) Though, according to CNN Money, Netflix's outage only lasted about an hour, it was enough time for millions of users to absolutely freak the eff out on Twitter. Honestly, reading though the tweets, it sort of seems like people briefly lost their sanity, and it makes me worried about what could happen to these devoted subscribers if something like this happened again, and for longer. Would they be OK? Is their sanity still intact?

Though the answer to either question is still up in the air, I do have to say, reading through Twitter's reaction to this tragedy was eye-opening. Netflix can never go down again, if only for the sake of the following 59 people:
